Mr. Henshaw brings 17-plus years of experience in the healthcare arena. Mr. Henshaw has in-depth knowledge of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) contract requirements and regulations under the Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) and End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Network programs, as he provides oversight for the Florida and U.S. Virgin Islands QIN work and ESRD Networks 7 (Florida), 13 (Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma), and 18 (Southern California). In his role, Mr. Henshaw has overall responsibility for the Measure & Instrument Development and Support (MIDS) national support contracts for Outpatient Quality Reporting Outreach and Education, covering more than 3,400 outpatient hospitals and 5,900 ambulatory surgical centers, and Inpatient Hospital Inpatient, Value, Incentives, and Quality Reporting Outreach and Education, inclusive of more than 3,400 inpatient hospitals. Other national contracts include Consolidated Renal Operations in a Web-enabled Network (CROWNWeb) Outreach, Communication, and Training, under which technical assistance and training are provided to more than 6,300 dialysis facilities, and Business Requirements for ESRD Systems, under which HSAG works with CMS and other application development teams to update and enhance CROWNWeb. Mr. Henshaw received his Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Iowa College of Medicine; his Master of Public Health, Policy and Planning from the University of Iowa College of Public Health; and his Master of Library and Information Sciences, Informatics from the University of Iowa School of Library & Information Science/College of Business.
