CMS COVID-19 Focused Survey for Nursing Homes Mini-Webinar Series

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the following memo on March 23, 2020, regarding the CMS COVID-19 Focused Survey for Nursing Homes, which includes the survey tool and corresponding guidance. This survey tool must be used to investigate compliance of F880 and determine whether facilities are implementing proper infection prevention (IP) and control practices to prevent the development and transmission of COVID-19 and other communicable diseases and infections.

The series highlights the components of the survey along with guidance.
