Optimizing Care and Preventing the Preventable
The Arizona Geriatrics Society is pleased to announce its signature event–the 28th Annual Fall Symposium “Optimizing Care and Preventing the Preventable” scheduled Friday–Saturday, November 11–12, 2016 at the Desert Willow Conference Center in Phoenix. The Fall Symposium will include presentations on a variety of current topics in geriatrics with a focus on prevention. Over two days, faculty will provide in-depth information on a variety of clinical topics that will help attendees optimize care and prevent the preventable for the patients they serve. We will also explore lessons learned from “Blue Zones” and dementia-friendly communities. AzGS is committed to advancing the best healthcare practices for older Arizonans by supporting the education of inter-professional geriatric health providers. Our faculty includes speakers and thought leaders on the cutting edge of current research related to the aging population. Join us for two exceptional days of learning from experts and networking with colleagues.
