This Medication Safety Learning and Action Network (LAN) Event will feature speakers exploring promising practices for patients with diabetes, including hypoglycemia. Topics will include how to safely choose diabetes-related medications, patient-centered approaches to medication management, and a review of new diabetic treatments. Participants will also hear from Medicare beneficiaries about their experiences with medications, monitoring blood sugar, and treating hypoglycemia as well as recommendations on how to improve care.
