The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has developed a 2015 Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) Payment Adjustment Fact Sheet for Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs). These adjustments are stipulated by Congress for CAHs that are not meaningful users of Certified EHR Technology (CEHRT) under the Medicare EHR Incentive Program. Negative payment adjustments are set forth in the fact sheet for cost reporting periods starting in fiscal year 2015 or a subsequent fiscal year.
