Objectives: At the completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Define secondary traumatic stress, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and burnout.
- Describe symptoms of stress in the professional’s work environment, along with the impact stress can have on physical/mental health and on personal and professional relationships.
- Describe how the professional can build a “toolbox of care” and use best practices to manage daily, seasonal, and acute episodic stress.
